Hairstroke/Feather Brows
What is Hairstroke Brows?
The hairstroke brows (also known as feather brows, hyperealistic brows or nano brows) tattoo can provide you with beautifully defined hairstroke eyebrows by adding colour that mimics the look of an individual hair. This is very much like microblading, but performed with a tattoo device as opposed to a blade and therefore is a little more comfortable than the microblading procedure. The finished result is very natural and lightly feathered so that when you look at your new brows close-up, you will see tiny individual very fine hair lines.
At the end of the process, you will have stunning looking permanent eyebrows that are perfectly symmetrical. Your eyebrows will be accurately placed and the right colour to suit your complexion and hair. The brow shape and thickness will be mapped to suit you and your facial proportions and based on your preference. All semi permanent makeup and microblading treatments are bespoke.
How Long Does it Last?
Hairstroke brows typically last for 12 to 24 months. An annual colour boost is recommended to keep the brows looking fresh. Your brows will eventually fade away if you don’t continue with colour boosts. There is no scarring or discolouration with the pigments used, so you wouldn’t know if you left them to fade out.
Who is it suitable for?
Hairstroke Brows is suitable for all however on an oily skin the hairstokes will blur over time, creating a more powdered brow effect eventually. The annual colour boost will help sharpen those hairstroke again for you.
Does it hurt?
It is relatively painless, but pain tolerance is unique to each individual. Most people describe the sensation as a light scratch on the skin. Many of my clients often fall asleep during the process. On a scale of 1 -10 (10 being most painful) most of my clients put this at a 3.
